Λογοθεραπεύτρια | Επιστημονική ΥπεύθυνηΣτο Λόγος και Επικοινωνία, έχω εκπαιδεύσει πλειάδα λογοθεραπευτών αλλά και θεραπευτές άλλων ειδικοτήτων σε θέματα της ειδικότητάς μου. Είμαι περήφανη που αρκετοί από αυτούς έχουν δημιουργήσει τους δικούς τους χώρους και έχουν αποκτήσει πολύ καλή επαγγελματική φήμη.
Τα θεραπευτικά μου ενδιαφέροντα είναι ευρεία και προσπαθώ να παρακολουθώ στενά τις τελευταίες εξελίξεις στον χώρο μας. Oι πτυχιακές εργασίες για τους δύο μεταπτυχιακούς τίτλους μου είχαν σαν προϋπόθεση κλινική δραστηριότητα και σχετιζόταν η πρώτη με την δομή του λόγου παιδιών με απώλεια ακοής ενώ η δεύτερη με θεραπεία δίγλωσσης ενήλικης ασθενούς με αφασία.H εκπαίδευσή μου καλύπτει πολλούς διαφορετικούς τομείς όπως γλωσσική/φωνολογική καθυστέρηση, γλωσσική/φωνολογική διαταραχή, διάχυτες αναπτυξιακές διαταραχές, εναλλακτική επικοινωνία, δυσπραξία, τραυλισμό, ρινολαλία, φωνή, ειδικές μαθησιακές δυσκολίες, αφασία κ.α.
Resume
I chose speech therapy as a life career through a random presentation in an elective pedagogy course in my final year of studies at the University of Athens. After graduating with honors, I worked for 2 years as an English teacher and then continued my studies at the University of Reading, alongside leading linguists. After completing my MA in Applied Linguistics with honors, I went on to City University where I obtained my British License to Practice as a Speech Therapist and my MSc in Clinical Communication Studies. In my studies, I was supported by the scholarships of the Papadakis endowment, the Onassis Scholarship Foundation and the Lilian Voudouris Foundation.
After finishing my studies, I worked in a Community Clinic in London for some time and returned to Greece in 1999 when I created Logos & Epikinonia. At the same time, I worked for some years at the Theotokos foundation, firstly with children and young people with severe learning difficulties and secondly, in Early Intervention.
On a personal level, I started a family and have 2 children, Nikolas and Elena.
